Toxic people are damaged people. You can't save them, nor should you try. Some people are better off not empowered. That may seem callous the first time you hear that. Toxic people, who are usually narcissists, habitually create parasitic relationships. During periods of bondage with codependent hosts, they do not grow emotionally or otherwise, as they pass the buck on their cares and responsibilities.
The enablers of toxic people allow those dysfunctional lifestyles to perpetuate.
